On October 8, 2026, Legal Document Assistants from all over California are coming together for 3 days of education and professional alliance at the CALDA Annual Conference... To launch our event, A Legal Oasis - Filling the Justice Gap, CALDA is hosting a FREE public Give-Back event! We are inviting members of the local community to come in and receive COMPLIMENTARY assistance with a Durable Power of Attorney form with accompanying notary service. |

Help us increase public awareness of the vital role and value that Legal Document Assistants bring to the community with our ability to FILL THE JUSTICE GAP. This event gives you the opportunity to give back to the community, promote your business and introduce the public to our profession. Let's demonstrate CALDA’s commitment to accessible, professional legal document assistance and why choosing a CALDA member for LDA services is always the best choice. CALDA members attending the Annual Conference are encouraged to arrive early and participate in the Give-Back. Please sign-up for a specific time HERE. | BE PREPARED FOR THE UNEXPECTED! This complimentary community event provides assistance with completing a California Statutory Durable Financial Power of Attorney form along with FREE notary service. Our capable volunteers from the California Association of Legal Document Assistants (CALDA) will help prepare this important document so you are better protected should you become unable to manage your financial affairs. Appointments are encouraged, walk-ins will be accommodated if time allows. Come meet our LDAs and learn what else they have to offer!
